Although OKC’s Pagan community is relatively small, there are a number of groups in which pagans can commune, celebrate ritual, and get involved in local activism. This list is constantly evolving and is not exhaustive. We also suggest WitchVox as another source of local / statewide groups and activities. If you manage a local pagan group, please contact email@example.com to update or add information.

Oklahoma Psychic Educational Research Association (OPERA)

In a time and age where humanity as a whole starts wondering more and more about the purpose of existence, and science starts to transcend in the domain of metaphysics and paranormal, an entity like O.P.E.R.A. brings to the general public education, research and knowledge.
O.P.E.R.A. has been functioning since 1975 in Oklahoma. It was a project of a group of people who got together to be, in our state, pioneers in this domain – so little understood and studied at the time. It has gathered over time many members, each with their own field of expertise, each on their own path towards studying fascinating subjects, helping each other and trying to promote to the general public the wonders of various paths: metaphysics, alternative healing, psychic abilities, spirituality and many other subjects of interest.
As time went by, many of the subjects that were either taboo or disregarded as impossible to prove by scientific research, were proven true and correct, as technology and science advanced. O.P.E.R.A. is still the same – still in the avant-garde of Oklahoma when it comes to studying and educating the general public.
If you want to know more, come to one of the O.P.E.R.A. fairs – there are six of them throughout the year. Each fair has free entrance, free parking, vendors and spiritual counselors, and most important, free lectures that feature a vast array of subjects – from metaphysical properties of crystals, to the awakening spirit, to the journey towards enlightenment of the soul in various spiritual paths, and much, much more.
